ai 0.70.0, ai-client 0.40.0, ai-react 0.31.0, ai-openai 0.30.1 and ai-compaction 0.3.0 (release-age exceptions added; the stale 0.64.1 and 0.36.2 ones removed). Brings the Chat Completions fix for stream chunks without `choices`. - The response middleware's onModelError retries a transient provider failure (connection, 408/409/429/5xx) before any output inside the same request, at most twice, counted as modelRetries in [chat:turn]. The browser no longer replays the conversation for those. - patches/@tanstack__ai@0.70.0.patch: TextAdapter.midConversationChannels accepts undefined like BaseTextAdapter, so adapters type-check under exactOptionalPropertyTypes. - Keep markdown 0.0.15 for ai-react 0.31.0 through the existing override. - Readonly message arrays from ai-client 0.40 in recovery and the gallery. - A redirect turn stays in the next turn's model history (regression test for 0.69's aborted-batch pruning).
